As I write this, I am sitting for the last time at my cubicle in Business Affairs at the CBC. This is, for the forseeable future, the last time that I will enjoy the comforts of a job that allows me freedom, creativity, a decent paycheck, and unbelievably long lunch breaks. By the time I hand in my timecard to the angry witches down in HR, I will have effectively entered to a world of poverty and sleep deprivation. I will have entered into the world of journalism.
